This site is dedicated to preserving the memory of the proud brewing tradition of Macardle Moore and Co. From humble beginnings by Edward H. Macardle and Andrew T.Moore in 1863 to its final closure by Diageo in 2001 this site provides an insight into over 300 hundred years of brewing at Cambricville.

This ambitious initiative has seen nearly 1,000 artefacts from the historic MacArdle Moore Brewery digitised, preserving a crucial part of Dundalk’s industrial heritage for future generations.
